The Asian continent, India, Japan, China particularly the Southeastern section of China and much of the Pacific Ocean will going to experience a total solar eclipse on Wednesday, July 22, 2009.
Scientists say, it will be the longest solar eclipse in the 21st century and it will last for 6 minutes and 39 seconds. The best viewing area will be the coast of China, near Shanghai and Hangzhou, where an estimated 30 million people will watch the solar eclipse.
