Daytona Beach, FL - The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, Inc. (NASCAR) after celebrating their 60 years last year will now be back on the races and quals of the roaring speed of 28 participating cars for the 2009 NASCAR events.
As No. 1 spectator in sport, NASCAR is holding 17 of the top 20 highest-attended sporting events in the U.S. and rated No. 2 for regular season sport on television. NASCAR races are broadcast in more than 150 countries and in more than 30 languages.
The NASCAR National Touring series schedules are comprised of events across the United States and Canada. Beginning in February at Daytona International Speedway and concluding in November at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series visit a combined total of 30 tracks, including Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal.
