Saturday, February 28 - Jones, a former Titan, agreed to have a five-year, $16.5 million deal, with $5.4 million in guaranteed money after the San Francisco 49ers took steps to fill the position of retiring free agent Bryant Johnson and Issac Bruce, Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com reported.

In 2005, Jones, starting seven, appeared in 16 games last season and caught 41 passes for 449 yards, both career highs.
