Sahel Kazemi also known as Saleh and Jenny just turned 20 few weeks ago. She was from Jacksonville, Florida, where her family lives. She was raised by a sister named Sepideh Salmani. Kazemi was actually the aunt of Sepideh Salmani but they were raised as sisters. Salmani's mother adopted her at the age of 9. Her mother was a native of Iran and was murdered when Kazemi was 9 while her father was unknown.

Her neighbors described her as friendly and fun-loving though naive about some things. She was also known as Jenny to her friends.
She was working as a waitress at Dave and Buster's Grand Sports Cafe where she met McNair.

Tony Farahani, General Manager of Dave and Buster's Cafe at Opry Mills said, McNair frequently came to his restaurant, often bringing several people. He also said he would not surprised if McNair met Kazemi there. He described Kazemi as a solid employee, workaholic with high energy.

Kazemi had a long-time boyfriend named Keith Norfleet, who had been dating her for four years. Five months ago, Kazemi and Keith broke up their relationship when McNair had been dating her. Keith was worried about Kazemi's dating with McNair, who was a married man.

Norfleet said that he move here in Nashville with Kazemi from Jacksonville, Florida. He also added that they'd been speaking a lot recently and she planned to break it off with McNair. He said Kazemi banged at his door early Saturday morning but she left before he could get to the door. He spent much of Saturday afternoon looking for her and trying to find out if she was the woman died with McNair.

Norfleet said upon learning her death, "She is the sweetest girl and she do not deserve this." "He was making her believe they were going to be together and everything would be perfect." "She was a very strong independent girl, a hard worker, who had hoped to get back with her." "She had a huge heart, very caring and loving."

"This is a tremendous shock, so unexpected. She was a bubbly girl and she was to come today at 5 p.m." Norfleet said.

Since the death of Steve McNair, 36, and Saleh Kazemi, 20, early Saturday, July 4, 2009, in a Nashville condominium rented by McNair, speculations raised that the incident was a "murder-suicide" or an "ill-motive of jealousy".

McNair was 36 when he was shot to death with a four fatal gunshot wounds, two in his chest and two in his head, one of which caused his death fatally, while Kazemi suffered one gunshot wound in her head, McNair's girlfriend, wherein a semi-automatic pistol was found underneath her body.

The condo was owned by Charles Cardwell which was leased to Wyne Neeley, a sporting goods dealer and a friend of McNair. Cardwell told WSMB that Neeley and McNair were good friends and when McNair visited Nashville, he would sometimes stay at the apartment. Neeley did not use apparently the apartment as his own residence. Cardwell said he had no idea who the dead woman was. This just reported on WSMB.

The mysterious death of the two were still to be resolved by further investigation of the Police authorities, the Ballestics Bureau/Division and the Forensic Meds to determine the real perpetrator of the killing incident.

Speculations raised that the incident was a murder-suicide or an ill-motive of jealousy from Mechelle, the wife of McNair or Kazemi's boyfriend, however, Police investigation failed to show that Mechelle is involved in the killing of her husband while further investigation is still on going as to the person of Saleh Kazemi including his boyfriend, Keith Norfleet.

McNair was the famous Tennessee Titans Football player and its predecessor team, the Houston Oilers, who played 13 seasons in the NFL or the Superbowl was also a local hero who did extensive charity work in Nashville.

He met Saleh Kazemi, as a waitress, whom he was dating for several months and a plan for marriage to her after leaving his wife, Mechelle.

Not until the final findings from the Ballestic division, the Forensic Meds and the Investigators who are still in the process of conducting further investigation as to the death of McNair and Kazemi, their death would remain mysterious and the killer/perpetrator would likewise remain at large whose whereabouts is still unknown.
