NASA POSTPONED SHUTTLE LAUNCH

Again, NASA postponed its first space shuttle launch of the year for a fourth time on Friday which failed to resolve concerns about potential problem with fuel pressurization valves. The Shuttle discovery has been scheduled to lift off on February 27 for a 14-day flight to outfit the International Space Station with a final set of solar wings panels. The flight, has already been delayed three times due to safety reviews that involves three small valves in the shuttle's rear engine that are needed to keep the external fuel tank properly pressurized during the 8.5 minute climb into the orbit.

In its shuttle mission last November, a tiny piece of one valve has been cracked however, there was not danger to the shuttle or its crew, but the U.S. space agency wants to be sure of its safety and of different outcome.

FLYING CAR READY FOR ITS FIRST TEST

Former NASA Engineers who have finally designed this new vehicle claim their invention might be the long-awaited dream come true about a flying car.

Terrafugia Transition is the name of the first flying car with wings that fold up automatically, at a push of a button from the cockpit and the entire process of it turning from a two-seat care into a flying craft lasts 15 seconds according to British Daily Mail. The flying test is scheduled this month, February, and if passes, it is expected to be released on the market in 18 months.

So far, 40 vehicles have been ordered already. According to Carl Dietrich, Head of Terrafugia, this is the first really integrated design where the wings fold up automatically and all the parts are in one vehicle.

The vehicle is powered by a 100 brake horsepower engine and the manufacturer claims one tank of petrol for its use at the cost of 132,000 pounds, same price of Bentley or Ferrari.

The eternal dream for million of drivers trapped in traffic jams will finally come true. May I could also buy this car... hehehe...
