MANILA - The 2018 Bar Exams Results is expected to be released on May 3, 2019 if there will be no changes on the release date.  

Associate Justice Mariano del Castillo, head of the 2018 Bar Exams Committee will make the announcement.

The 2018 Bar Exams has the highest number of examinees in recent years with a total of 8,155. In 2017 there were 6,748 examinees and 1,724 passed the Bar exams.

We could just say that the increasing number of examinees every year for the Bar Exams many aspires of becoming a lawyer but only few are chosen.

Complete lists of passers will be posted to this link upon announcement of the results by the Supreme Court on May 3.

For China's Belt and Road Infrastructure Program, President Xi Jinping, pledged to clean up his signature amid criticism of saddling poor nations with debt.

Of some 5,000 attendees from across the globe, the Chinese President said in an address to the annual Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, "We need to maintain that all cooperation is conducted under the sun and work together to combat corruption with zero tolerance.
 
He vowed that China will negotiate and sign high-standard free trade agreements with more countries, strengthen cooperation in customs, taxation, auditing and supervision, and establish a cooperation mechanism for jointly building the Belt and Road tax collection and management system.

"We need to pursue high-standard cooperation," he said. "We will adopt widely-accepted rules and standards, and encourage participating companies to follow general international rules and standards in product development, operations procurement, tendering and bidding."



April 25, 2019, Beijing, China. - President Rodrigo R. Duterte along with the official delegation of the government of the Philippines hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping to resolve issues of the long-dispute West Philippine Sea (South China Sea) prior to the 2nd Belt and Road Forum. 

According to Atty. Salvador Panelo, Presidential Spokesperson,  President Duterte raised the issue of West Philippine Sea, particularly Pag-asa Island. 

He also added, "Both agree that the situation can be resolved through bilateral consultative mechanism but it should not affect the cooperation being undertaken by both the Philippines and China and they look forward to a productive on matters of mutual concerns and interests."

President Xi Jinping stressed the importance of "good neighborliness and proper handling of differences between the countries." He even cited the memorandum of understanding on oil and gas linked between the Philippines and China which "suspended their differences for a joint exploration that would mutually benefit both countries and their peoples."

For President Duterte, he assured that Manila and Beijing remain allies, Panelo said. 

Meanwhile, according to Jose Santiago Sta. Romana, Philippine Ambassador to China, "The Chinese have sought to reassure us that they have no intention to use force or to occupy Pag-asa."
